Well, summer is officially over. It's hard to believe it's October already! This summer was full of hiking, swimming, spending time with family, traveling and being home with my little family.
I'm sad it's over. Time slips away so quickly..
However, I absolutely love this time of year. The colorful leaves, crisp air, sweaters, pumpkin roll, warm soup, hot chocolate and cuddling. It's definitely got it's charms.
It is strange going through this time of year without attending school. I spend my days doing things that need to be done and things I want to do. Ryan has morning classes and a bunch of online classes and a night job a few days a week, so he's home for most of the day--it's really nice.
EmmaLee is growing so fast! In two days she will be five months old. She sits up on her own, rolls around, giggling, and squealing. She can grab things easily now and brings everything to her mouth. The front of her shirts are always plastered to her skin because of all of her drool. Her lucious dark hair has thinned out and a thick layer of blonde fuzz is taking it's place. So at the moment she looks like she's balding, but I'm really excited she's going to be a little blondie. :) Her eyes are green. She's beautiful.
I love being a mom. Having a baby whose face lights up whenever you walk into the room and will snuggle in your arms and fall asleep cuddled next to you... Such a blessing.
She has such a fun personality; there's never a dull moment with her around.
She loves our cat Tia. She gets so excited when she sees her, she tries so hard to get over to where Tia's sitting. It's so cute.
Tia manages to always stay just out of reach. Once Emma learns how to crawl though, Tia's going to have to work a little harder to evade her.
