Everything is good. We are living in Texas for the semester.
We abide on a large ranch next to Ryan's family. We live in their guest house.
It's a dome! Not many people an say they've lived in a dome! It's like we're hobbits, living in the Shire. ( Ryan and I are having a lotr extended version marathon. Hence the nerdy analogy.)
I think the dome is adorable. Despite my little complaints, it has honestly been quite a blessing being able to live here. We've saved a lot of money and its always nice being close to family.
Ryan is interning here in Texas working for PeisnerJohnson & Co. and loving it. He loves having a job that helps him learn things that will benefit his future career. He works with some great people, too, so it's been good all around!
Emma is 10 1/2 months now. She has 8 teeth. 4 on top and 4 on the bottom. She crawls. She climbs, too. She gets into everything so I feel like I'm spinning my wheels all day trying to keep up with her. She loves going outside to play with the doggies and going on walks.
We go on a lot of walks. (There are so many places to explore.)
The other day I forgot to put our sunscreen on and we were out in the sun for about half an hour before I realized that we were getting burned. So unfortunately, EmmaLee got her first little sunburn. Except the next day we met a lady that commented on how tan she is, so it didn't last long for her.
And As for myself, I'm busy keeping Emma healthy and happy. I love being a mom. There are times that I consider getting a part time nursing job (after we are established in one spot for awhile) but we will see what happens. Anything could happen. Our future at this point is unforseeable. Which is kind of stressful.
But I plan on embracing each new adventure and enjoying the ride life has to offer.
