Bows for daysss

I have little outbursts of creative energy, those are the times I do big house projects. I've painted walls, refinished furniture, crafted, all sorts of things. My most recent little outburst was creating bows. This has been so fun because it involved the girls.
I made a boat load of baby girl head bands and bows last week, I sold them and made over $70 in less than a week. I even made an Instagram page for it...

Someone told me I needed to start an etsy business with them but I'm kind of already over it. My creative outbursts are short lived, but intense.
It was fun though!

Someone bought all these for $20, and then came back and bought a bunch more. Whew. I'm quite a perfectionist though so it was stressful, everything about them had to be absolutely perfect or I started all over.

It was wild. I felt busy, rich and accomplished this week ;)

I'm done with that garbage for awhile. I'm ready to be lazy, poor and unaccomplished this week.

Snow days in Texas

The last couple weeks we've gotten quite a bit of snow (for Texas). In fact, we had almost 3 inches at one point, while down in Idaho they had no snow. I doubt that happens very often.
We loved it! Emma woke up every morning and looked out the window and would want to go outside before she even had breakfast. So out she went. I got both girls bundled up and took them out.
'Ma my shoes fell off...' Haha this girl was kicking so hard her shoes flew right off.
This was the first snow fall, it was so Icey, the snow was crunchy and hard.

The second snow fall was so sticky so we built a snowman while Addi was sleeping. Meet Olaf. ( I betcha there were hundreds of snowmen named Olaf that day)

Emma's been really into taking pictures (takes after her Grandma Millward maybe??) so I was pretty impressed when she took this with my phone and actually got me in the picture :)

4 hours later.

It ended up snowing a lot more a couple days later. It was so much fun!!
